Mother Bird & Baby Birds – Acrylic Painting Tutorial on Two Canvases | Step-by-Step Online Workshop

A Little Family, A Lot of Love! 🐦💚

There is something so beautiful and heartwarming about a mother bird caring for her little babies. The love, the connection, the feeling of being safe and together. ❤️

In this cozy and beautiful pre-recorded acrylic painting workshop, we will bring this adorable bird family to life across two separate canvases, creating one lovely painting that tells a complete story!

From the mother bird spreading her wings to the four fluffy little babies waiting on their branch, surrounded by beautiful shades of green, soft sunlight and lush leaves, we will paint every little detail together.

And please don't worry if you are new to painting! Although this artwork looks detailed, I have broken down the entire process into simple, easy-to-follow steps so that even an absolute beginner can enjoy creating it.

🎨 What Will You Learn?

We will start right from the basics and slowly build our paintings together.

• Drawing from scratch: I will guide you through the complete drawing process, teaching you how to sketch the birds, their features, wings, branches and surrounding foliage.

• Acrylic painting basics: Learn essential techniques, brush control, colour mixing and layering.

• Beautiful green backgrounds: Create a soft, glowing woodland atmosphere with depth, light and lovely shades of green.

• Painting realistic birds: Learn to create soft, fluffy feathers, delicate wings, expressive little faces and beautiful textures.

• Light and shadows: Understand how highlights and shadows bring dimension and life to your artwork.

• Painting on two canvases: Learn how to connect both paintings visually so they come together as one beautiful composition.

• Finishing touches: Add those lovely little details that make your paintings feel magical and complete.

🌿 A Little Creative Time Just for You

One of my favourite things about painting is how it allows us to slow down and forget everything else for a little while.

Whether you are picking up a paintbrush for the very first time or have been painting for years, I hope this workshop gives you a few peaceful, happy hours doing something you love.

You don't have to rush, and you certainly don't have to make everything perfect. Just follow along with me, one little step at a time, and watch your beautiful bird family come to life.

And when you finish, you will have two lovely handmade paintings that look beautiful displayed together and tell such a sweet story of love and family.

I cannot wait to paint these little cuties with you! ❤️

With love,
