Painting Roses + Girl with Roses : 2 Detailed Acrylic Painting Workshops

If you love flowers, beautiful colours and expressive art, you get to enjoy a little bit of everything in this workshop. 🌹💙

We’re creating TWO complete acrylic paintings, first, a gorgeous floral painting filled with loose, layered roses and touches of gold, and then a dreamy girl surrounded by flowers.

I especially love how these two paintings go together. In the first, we can simply relax and play with our brushes while learning how to build roses without obsessing over every petal. Then we take those techniques into our second painting and combine florals with a beautiful expressive face.

We’ll paint & explore together:

• 🌹 Learn how to paint beautiful roses using acrylics
• 🖌️ Build flowers using loose brushstrokes, layers, shadows and highlights
• 👩 Paint an expressive female face step by step
• 🌸 Learn how to arrange and layer flowers naturally around the portrait
• 🎨 Play with gorgeous blues, pinks, purples and greens
• ✨ Add texture, splatters and beautiful gold accents
• 💙 Learn blending, shading, layering and fine-detail techniques
• 🎨 Create TWO finished paintings while learning techniques you can use in your own artwork

And please don’t worry about making every rose perfect! That’s part of the fun of this workshop. We’ll loosen up, play with our colours and allow our flowers to develop naturally as we paint.

This is a detailed, pre-recorded workshop, which means you can make it completely your own experience. Paint both pieces over a weekend or finish one now and save the other for another creative day. Pause, rewind and come back as often as you need.
